Friday night Strengthening southwesterly winds and rain moves into Scotland, the north and west of Ireland and Northern Ireland, some heavier rain setting in for a few hours. Rain spills toward northwest England later in the night. Dry across much of England, Wales and the southeast of Ireland all night, clear spells toward the southeast then high cloud tending to build from the west. Lighter winds in the south. Rather cool, lows 6 to 10C early in the night, then rising slightly in the north and west.
