Monday 14/9/26 High pressure nearby to the southeast, whilst low pressure and fronts move into the north and west. Much of south and eastern areas of England largely dry and bright, though cloud will thicken from the west. Rain extends across Ireland into western Britain, some persistent heavier falls developing over the hills. Patchy rain moving to east and northeastern areas. Southwesterly winds and feeling quite humid. Mild to warm, or very warm southeastern areas, highs 16 to 25C.
